Streamlined Web Design Support Process

After painstakingly researching how to make life easier on both me and my clients I’ve finally weighed the costs verses the benefits and found the best cost solution for Drillerweb. It wasn’t easy. There have to be no less than thousands of project management, invoicing, estimating, time-tracking, CRM, support, ticketing software and hosted solutions out there.

Whew! I wore myself out!

I would find a PERFECT program … and it would lack just one thing. That one thing would be a deal breaker. It was such heart breaking research. So many programs came so close, but no cigar, as the saying goes.

My standards are high admittedly. I want simple project management with tasks and time-tracking (including an actual timer). I want to be able to fill out estimates or quotes and turn them into projects or invoices when a client accepts them. I want my clients to be able to login and collaborate on projects, see their invoices, pay through paypal, and create support tickets. I also want to be able to keep notes and files associated with clients and projects.

That’s about it. All I require.

I found it all in Worketc. I was hoping to be able to purchase a system and set it up on our servers, but I’ve learned that there is no PERFECT system.

I do know I can’t keep all that stuff on my computer. I go through computers and harddrives too frequently. So whether it’s hosted on my servers or someone else’s – as long as it’s backed up and secure, that’s a better solution than sitting on my fragile desktop here.

So, what that means for my clients – no more lost emails and scraps of papers with To-Do’s. No more multiple logins for hosting, invoices, estimates, support, docs, and projects.

I will have everything accessible through Drillerweb.com shortly. I will also be setting up an email mailing list to keep you all up to date whether you’re a hosting client or a web dev client or a freelance client or more than one.

You will be able to access a knowledgebase and training articles as well.

One important piece of information you need right away (buried here at the bottom of this article) is that all support tickets are accessed through the email address: support@drillerweb.com.
